In May 2022, TamilAid carried out a meaningful initiative by donating bicycles to “Puthuvazhvu Poonga”-ORHAN, Vavuniya. A Training Center for Mentally Challenged Children in communities. For many of these children, transportation is a daily challenge. Walking long distances to school or activities often limits their access to education and social opportunities. By providing bicycles, TamilAid not only eased this burden but also empowered them with freedom, confidence, and a sense of dignity.
